Thariq Leaves Anthropic After More Than a Year on Claude Code

One of Claude Code’s public faces steps away.

Thariq (@trq212) says he has left Anthropic after more than a year working on Claude Code and seeing it scale larger than he ever imagined. He says he believes in the mission and “the idea of a race to the top,” and that he trusts his colleagues deeply. He is taking a break before diving into something new.
