@clairevo Moves 80% of Her Personal Coding to Claude Code and Opus 5.5
Claude Code projects and less front-end slop won her over; she still rates Codex the better harness overall.
@clairevo calls it a plot twist: she has moved 80% of her personal coding over to Claude Code with Opus 5.5.
She lists her reasons. Claude Code projects is “goated.” She can no longer press “steer” in Codex. The code is good, with a question mark, and there is less front-end slop. Opus 5.5’s creative abilities, she writes, were “the gateway drug to taking back my coding work.”
The switch is partial. Asked in a reply, she says it depends: Opus is better at creative work generally, except gaming. Codex, she writes, is the better overall harness and “unbeatable at computer/browser use.”
