NVIDIA Brings DSX POD and More Open Models to GTC Berlin
@kimmonismus says DSX POD turns months of data center build-out into days.
Data centers in days, says @kimmonismus.
NVIDIA announced DSX POD at GTC Berlin. “This is a bigger deal than most people realize,” @kimmonismus writes, because it addresses one of the biggest bottlenecks: scaling. Instead of taking months to build out a data center, he says, compute capacity can now scale in just a few days.
He also flags digital radiologists, for detecting and treating cancer more quickly, and NVIDIA’s growing focus on mobile networks: “Cuda made its first call.”
Open models for Europe.
NVIDIA AI says it is releasing more open models to help teams across Europe build AI with their own data, on infrastructure they control. The models help developers, researchers and enterprises build specialized AI agents, train robots, design proteins and develop quantum computers.
From the keynote stage, NVIDIA AI quotes: “There’s no question everybody will become an AI company and we’re going to have a thriving AI economy here in Europe.”
Yesterday NVIDIA announced work with the European Broadcasting Union and Adobe, also from GTC Berlin.
